Do parents stay during class?

We find children develop independence and confidence better when they attend class on their own, but parents are welcome to watch from the waiting area. Parents are also invited to attend the last 5 minutes of any class. We'll share regular updates about your child's activities and progress along with activities they can play at home in our weekly lesson reports.

How do you keep young children engaged for 45 minutes?

Our classes are structured with short, varied activities that keep young minds interested. We move between singing, drumming, piano exploration, and creative games. Children stay engaged because they're actively participating and having fun!

How will I know if my child is progressing?

You’ll notice progress through your child’s growing enthusiasm for music, ability to keep a beat while playing with others, improved coordination, and confidence in creating their own songs. We also provide regular updates on class activities and your child’s development through weekly lesson reports.

Is my 4-year-old ready for music classes?

MiniKeys is specially designed for young children ages 4-5. We use games, stories, and movement to introduce music naturally. If your child enjoys singing, moving to music, or making sounds, they're ready for MiniKeys!

What if my child has never played an instrument before?

Perfect! MiniKeys starts at the very beginning. We introduce instruments through play and exploration, letting children discover music at their own pace. No prior experience needed.

What if my child is shy?

Our warm, nurturing environment helps shy children feel comfortable gradually. We never pressure children to perform. Through games and group activities, they naturally build confidence at their own pace.
